Meet Jack Dembow ‘77

Throughout his successful career in health care administration, Jack Dembow often reflected on how significant a role Ithaca College played in his personal and professional accomplishments. His degree in Health Services Administration and the relationships he cultivated during and after his time at IC formed the foundation for a challenging but rewarding career.

Jack believes in paying forward his success. He endowed the Jack H. Dembow ’77 Scholarship for Health Care Management students, and regularly supports the Ithaca College Annual Fund.

Promoting a spirit of philanthropy—especially among recent graduates—is a high priority for Jack. Annual giving at any level transforms a one-time donor into a life-long philanthropist, one who recognizes that their IC experience created a newer, more confident version of who they always were.

In addition to his philanthropy, Jack supports IC’s LGBTQ programming, has hosted new student welcome receptions, and in 2017, joined the Ithaca College Board of Trustees. He lives in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, with his husband, Mark, and their golden retriever, Rolex.
